Riverside and Jolly were both incredible tonight. The sound was really clear as well. Great night.

Next up, Jagermeister Music Tour, with Gojira, Ghost, and The Defiled.

Back home from PPM. What better way to end a festival than to have both Helloween and Gamma Ray performing Halloween together.

I did NOT get to see Green Jello. Apparently going to see my MIL for easter was more important?

So, I don't know what concerts I'm going to see now. :(

Last night Ghost did a signing for their new album in Hollywood and my brother and I were able to go. I never thought I'd have the opportunity to meet them, and I sure as shit never thought I'd be able to shake their hands and talk with them. They were really cool, humble, and down to earth guys.

The Nameless Ghouls all had stamps of their symbols that they stamped on their faces on the poster.

Friday night in Virginia Beach we had the Lunatic Luau at the Farm Bureau Live (amphitheater). Fortunately it is roughly 20 minutes from my house. Pretty good show...Damn good actually. The bands involved were, in no particular order:

Three Days Grace
Trapt
Nonpoint
POD
Papa Roach
Seether
Buck Cherry
All That Remains
Otherwise
Volbeat
Sevendust
Pop Evil

Tonight at the Farm Bureau Live in Virginia Beach RUSH will be here to rock our faces off. Getting ready for that show now...Rock On \m/> < \m/
Guitars: Early 90's Ibanez EX Series, Late 80's B.C. Rich Mockingbird, Fairly new Epiphone LP Custom

Tonight was easily the best Rush gig I've seen in recent years, live in person or recorded. They've definitely stepped up their visual show (one big screen, 10 smaller screens that lower from the ceiling). They spent the first half performing their regular stuff from before. The second half brought on a string section and they performed most of Clockwork Angels, before ending with some of their most popular songs (Spirit Of Radio, YYZ, Tom Sawyer, 2112 etc). Brilliant show. Would be my gig of the year if I wasn't looking forward to Roger Waters The Wall in September.
