Tickets for almost everything are sky rocketing.

I spent $70 just to get me & my wife in the races Friday night. Granted it was a "big boys" race, but still.

They had an "after race concert" for some country singer, so Im sure a chunk of the ticket price was to cover his end.

I still have not got my tickets for the Down show in Nashville next month.

I saw 'em a month or so ago with GNR. I think I got in for $70 or something, but that was with some fancy deal. Normal ticket prices were more like 120.

And it was outdoors, and it abso-fuckin-lutely pissed down raining that night (same day F1 qualifying was postponed til race day). No way I would have paid the full price to see 'em though.

If you can afford it, it's definitely worth it. Their live show is so good it's ridiculous.

$70 seems about right for ZZ - I would have expected more honestly. I paid like $75 for mid level VH seats a year or two ago.

Saw ZZ top at the Orpheum in Boston a few years ago and it was one of the best shows I've been to. Dusty had to sit down and rest every few songs and the Rev. would tell stories and noodle on the guitar- it was badass! I really can't see Dusty having too many more years of touring in him based on that though so it's well worth catching them while you still can.

I'd pay $70 to see ZZ Top in a heartbeat. I'm pretty sure they'll never come within 2 hours of me though.

Is that the norm? When I saw 'em in March he seemed perfectly fine. :idk:
