Fender Princeton Chorus - Sound only on one speaker

I have princeton chorus amp and have sound coming out of only one of the two speakers. I removed the speaker wires from the speaker that has sound and replaced them on the other speaker without sound and then that speaker has sound, so the speaker is good. My guestion is, would it be something in the chassis causing the problem? Would it a transformer or something of that nature. Would anyone have any ideas or suggestions.

If there's no loose wires or connections visible, you've done about all the trouble shooting you can do without amp repair experience.
It does sound like something inside the amp, and most of us around here are much more experienced with tube amps.

I'd have to take it to a tech, replace it, or just play it as-is, but perhaps one of the guys who work on SS Will reply.

Great amp. I have one.

Recheck the effects loop ins and outs. If you're not connected right you will lose one speaker of sound. If you're using them, unplug everything and try the amp again. If you're not, then just plug and unplug each one to exercise the jacks. The effects loops are weird. The manual explains it but it is easy to screw up.

If it still doesn't work, try plugging direct into the mono return jack. If you have the right cable you can also try the stereo return. If either of these work, then you know the problem is in the preamp somewhere.
