The new RED album came out today. Gonna go pick it up at lunch. I had no idea they were even a "christian band", they just ruled. I love the sound/production and just the overall package with them.
Jasen Rauch now just writes at home w/ them and doesn't tour, and he collab'd a lot with Ben Burnley on "Dear Agony" and you can definitely hear the influence he had on that record w/ all the orchestration and stuff.

Re: \M/ Christian Hard Rock/Metal Thread \M/
theres alot of great bands that you guys havent mentioned like
war of ages
becoming the archetype
soul embraced
the showdown- their first album was awesome
the crucified
stavesacre
unashamed
focal point
few left standing
comeback kid
haste the day
focused
mxpx
onward to olypas
project 86
immortal souls
inked in blood
still remains
maylene and the sons of disaster
outer circle
shockwave
xdisciplex a.d.
strong arm
august burns red
theres alot more to christian bands the usual p.o.d., pillar, stryper stuff.
not every band thats christians is a ministry band, some are but alot arent, most consider themselves christains in a band or some bands might have 3 guys in the band that have christian or faith beliefs and a few guys that dont. some bands are very open and vocal and some arent and they just let the music do the talking but dont like to be labeled a christian band because not every song is about their faith and they dont always get preachy on stage. check out the bands i mentioned and maybe some of you will like them, good music is good music and even if you dont believe in their faith you might enjoy the music.

Re: \M/ Christian Hard Rock/Metal Thread \M/
well.... this thread has taken an interesting turn since Ive been gone for a few days.
What I meant by "christian" was having song lyrics somehow connect to christianity. Some of the stuff posted here is pretty good, I'm impressed, others, lolwat....
Ok, well I can contribute a few more to help things along:
