I guess I'm like a magpie. I like shiny things.
I started out grabbing the Boss SD-1 50th anniversary, and then because someone posted a thread about the Nobels ODR-1, I had to order one of those. Then to complete the set, I ordered an Ibanez 40th anniversary TS-9.
I didn't need any of these. There are far more practical things I could have spent $750 CDN on. I really wanted to try out the Nobels ODR-1 as I've never tried one and it seemed like a very versatile OD pedal. So there's no surprises as far as the SD-1 and the TS-9 goes, but the Nobels really is a cool little pedal. The bass cut control is very useful and really helps you dial in the tone for a specific amp. Nobels included a guitar pick, a sticker, and a numbered COA. Ibanez included a sticker. Boss gives you a big fat nothing with your overpriced but shiny "made in Indonesia" pedal. At least the Ibanez is made in Japan. The Nobels is made in China.
You're really not getting anything extra for the $ for these anniversary editions other than the shiny paint jobs, but they look cool!
By the way, is anyone else using Imgur and having mobile issues? I can no longer upload pics from my phone. When I try, I get a message telling me the upload failed, and that "Imgur is over capacity". Obviously Imgur is not over capacity because I can upload from my laptop. I tried using Amazon Photos for image hosting, but the share link they provide doesn't work, and I tried Flickr too and I've had no success with that either. I know it's probably something I'm doing wrong, but jesus christ, why is it so fucking difficult? Image hosting is becoming a massive pain in the dick.

I just uploaded a picture of my Koch to test it. It was a heavy load but Imgur took it.
Congrats on the pedals btw, this reminds me I need to get a Tube Screamer again.

If you're gonna violate Imgur's terms of service, might as well do it right!
