Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
I have a Bassman 50 head that I use for cleans, it has no effects and I was looking for a nice reverb pedal to put in front of it. Any recommendations?

For straight ahead reverb the RV6 is hard to beat. For something more adventurous I absolutely love my Mr Black Supermoon.
Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
Having used a Boss RV-6 and a Strymon BlueSky, I can recommend the Boss. It’s the best, in the sense that it’s really easy to find, and very affordable.

Yeah RV-6 is killer.
Digitech Polara is awesome, loaded with Lexicon algorithms.
TC Hall of Fame is great for the Toneprints.

How is the RV-5 in comparison to the RV-6?

Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
Both are good but the 6 sounds clearer in all modes. And it has the shimmer mode, which can be fun.
I dont think you'd be unhappy with the RV5 but the difference in price between the 2 used is usually $30-40 so I'd just get the RV6. It's worth the small price difference.

Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
The 5 is the worst Boss reverb, IMO. It had a gross brightness I couldn't tune out.
The RV-6 is an awesome pedal. If the OP isn't going to answer any of my questions, then I guess I'll just recommend the RV-6.

My apologies for not replying to this post earlier.
Not looking to spend much more than $100 bucks, I don't use cleans much (mostly high gain stuff) so I'm not looking for the greatest reverb ever made, just something usable.
Don't need stereo, and don't need midi. I'm a caveman.
It sounds like the RV-6 is what I'm looking for, thanks to everyone for their advice.

Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
I'd say get a Dispatch Master and never give a fuck about effects again lol.

Strymon flint is worth consideration too, if you ever want a flexible tremolo as well

If you want trem + spring, also check out source audio true spring. Ridiculously good sound.

Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
If you're also looking for a delay, it doesn't have tap tempo but the EQD Dispatch Master sounds lovely and has a solid reverb.

For that combination J Rockett‘s Mr Moto should as well get a honorable mention - but as well way above the given budget
Re: Reverb Pedal Recommendations?
The Keeley DDR has a good reverb and or Delay and Dist/Overdrive all in one. Probably find a used one for a reasonable price.
