Any music software company that moves to a subscription model is bound to have trouble.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Totally agree 100% especially since most people frequently take long breaks between recording sessions.

I refuse to buy subscriptions (whenever possible)... which is one of several reasons why I'm still using ProTools 10.
Not sure what album or group it was but, PT10 was used to make a Grammy nominated album last year... it's still relevant software.
Malwarebytes is the only subscription that I don't mind paying for because, it saved my ass more than once!!!

I still have a copy of PT10 and I stopped using it, because of the security dongle and the software wanting me to constantly update it to the newest subscription version.

Said nah, and went with a different piece of software.
