I was hooked on this artist about a year and a half ago the first time I heard Beauty Into Cliches.
She's got some really greasy rhythm feel, excellent playing chops, a unique sound, really intriguing lyrics, and a voice that could make granite sway a little.
Her latest album Revealer was just nominated for Best Folk Album and her single Life According to Raechel was nominated for Best American Roots Performance. This is an incredible accomplishment for a bandleader that has just turned 26 years old. Fucking amazing.
This whole performance from 2020 is great and I especially love the solo set ender that starts at 40:00.

I’m such a fanboy that I recently spent $80 to get a tshirt and a signed copy of Revealer on black/red splatter vinyl, and plan on getting her JHS pedal too
