I have Ozone and RX7.

Ozone is easy to use and can make a big improvement on mixes. The presets use a lot of loudness maximizing but, it's easy to knock it back a few notches.

I restored a few old tapes and did a few vinyl transfers with RX7. It takes some work but, it's very effective.
RX7 does a GREAT job getting rid of vinyl crackles and pops, background hum and noise.
It can also be used to change the volume levels of drums, vocals and instruments on stereo mixes.

This was an original transfer from a cassette:

I am a big fan of the Ozone for mastering. The mastering assistant gives you a great starting point and you can make a few tweaks from their suggested settings and be done. The results are usually much better than what I'd get doing it all on my own.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

FYI...
The full version of Ozone can be used as either a standalone or as a plugin.
I have the mid-priced version so, I have to open Ozone and import files for processing.

I did not know that. I have to open mine as a plug-in in my mastering software (Wavelabs). I like it that way because it allows me to use other companies plugins along with it.

Can't speak to the plug-ins, but I bought the Izotope Spire recording device about a year ago. Great piece of kit! I use it to record pretty much everything I do out of the house, and the quality is really impressive. I use the Spire app on my phone or iPad to carve/ clean up recordings and post them to Dropbox. I wouldn't hesitate to buy something else from them.

My old instrumental prog band, BML
My metal band, Contrarian

Buy my Signature Mason BG Hellabucker

Happily endorsed by ESP Guitars and BG Pickups
Also, lot's of Charvel's and Fender's on hand

I have to open my version of Ozone on my desktop and import the song into it for processing. Then I save the processed version as a new file. Mine does not work as a plugin. That's what I get for trying to save money!
This could have been changed in later versions, allowing use as a stand-alone and a plugin.

I know at least since v7 it's Plug-in version only for Elements and both plug-in and app for Standard and Advanced

I definitely have Standard.... but, I'll have to check, I may have v6.

EDIT: I have V8 Standard... it works as an app but, it won't open in ProTools as a plugin.

EDIT: My memory isn't what it used to be... but I do remember reading the specs before buying Ozone 8 and it said it would only run as an app (not a pluging) on my system.
This phenomenon may be specific to my Mac using OSX and ProTools 10... which would make sense.
